The Logo

The Automation Federation logo is the single strongest visual element used to promote the organization; therefore, it must be used consistently and correctly in order to effectively build awareness and to reinforce our identity’s legal protection. The logo must be applied in accordance with the accompanying standards and guidelines to ensure that maximum consistency and visibility is achieved with every application.

• The logo is composed of two elements—the stylized Automation Federation letters and the interlocking rings.
• These elements should never be changed, altered, or redrawn in any way.
• Always use approved electronic artwork when reproducing the Automation Federation logo.

• The clear space is proportional to the logo, and is based on the width (x) of the interlocking rings.
• The minimum distance of clear space is 1/2x. This area should be clear of typography, photography, patterns, folds, surface edges, and page trim* that would affect the legibility of the logo components.
• The Automation Federation logo should never bleed off of page edges or be squeezed into tight spaces.
